Anthony Dobson, President-
Anthony grew up in Marietta, GA and has a wealth of residential and commercial construction experience. Anthony is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and International Code Congress. He lives in Marble Hill, GA and inspects residential re-sales in the northern section of Metro-Atlanta and in North Georgia. Anthony joined Southern Home Inspection Services in 2005, and is President of Southern Home Inspection Services.
Bobby Beers, Home Inspector-
Bobby is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, GA and has not only sold building materials but has extensive construction and remodeling experience. Bobby lives in Dunwoody and inspects new construction and residential re-sales all over Metro Atlanta. Bobby is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and is International Code Congress Certified. He joined Southern Home Inspection Services in 2003.
Lee Garrett, Home Inspector-
Lee is a native of Rome , GA and spent many years not only selling building materials but remodeling homes as well. Lee is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the International Code Congress. Lee lives in Powder Springs and conducts inspections on residential re-sales primarily on the west side of Metro-Atlanta and in North Georgia. Lee owned his own home inspection company for four years prior to joining Southern Home Inspection Services in 2009.
Paul Shafer, Home Inspector-
Paul was born in New York but has lived in Acworth, GA for the last 21 years. He has been in the new home construction business his entire life prior to joining Southern Home Inspection Services. Paul is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors. Paul still lives in Acworth and conducts inspections on residential re-sales primarily on the west side of Metro Atlanta and in North Georgia. Paul has been with Southern Home Inspection Services since 2001.
Joe Kelcourse, Home Inspector
Joe was born in Massachusetts and moved to Georgia in 1984. He has an extensive work history in residential and commercial building industry as a project manager and as a custom home builder. He worked at Cherokee County building department as an inspector and owned his own home inspection company 5 years prior to joining SHIS in 2011. He is an active member of ASHI and is certified in CABO, ICC, GSWWCC Level 1A certified (soil and water conservation). Joe lives in Fairmont, Georgia and inspects new construction and residential resale in the north metro area and North Georgia.
Sheila Dobson, Scheduler – If you’ve called in to Southern Home Inspection Services lately, you have probably talked with Sheila Dobson who joined Southern Home Inspection Services as their Full Time Scheduler Spring 2011. She was born in Wisconsin but has lived in Georgia since 1983 and this is where she met her husband. She has education and training in the medical field but made a “career change” and went to work for a transportation company where she dispatched 15 trucks over the road. Sheila also gained experienced as an office manager handling her husband’s trucking and grading business.
Sheliyah Raulerson, Scheduler-Sheliyah was born in Naples, Florida and moved to Georgia in 2011. She has worked as a Paralegal, and supported several new home builders in the construction office before making a career change in 1995. She obtained her Real Estate License and worked new home sales for over 9 years along with resale property. Deciding to make a change of scenery, Sheliyah moved to Ellijay and now works with Southern Home Inspection Services as their scheduler and also assists with the offline and online marketing to the Realtors and clients.
Tona Dobson, Office Manager-Tona has worked with Southern Home Inspection Services since 2002 and has worked in pretty much every office position in the company. She now manages the office staff, the inspection schedules of their team of inspectors and helps in the marketing field, scheduling sales meetings, lunch and learns and coordinating the office events.
